Is there ever a ‘qualification’ on how a real man should act?

That is actually the question that one could conclude in Colt 45’s ad campaign, “Real Men Should Act Like Men”. With several ads cored on presenting a group of men with one of them turns ‘girlie’ during a men’s talk – like that one who critiqued a sexy woman’s bikini color as not matching to the latter’s figure – one must have to be blind to see that this commercial is sexist!

Come on, does a man need to drink beer to be called a real man? Much more, is it wrong for a man to be inclined in his feminine side. Why does a ‘real’ man have to prove that he is indeed ‘real’. Like COME ON!

And yeah, do I have to add this commercial is just a copycat of Milwaukee’s Best Light commercial? (If they are sister companies please do inform me and drop a comment below).

Meanwhile, as I was unfortunate to find this particular Colt 45 ad, I guess I’d just give you Milwaukee’s and see for yourself the resemblance it has with Colt 45’s.
